the Oude Kerk and is 5 minutes walking distance
from Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station.
Public transport directly to the red light district
is not possible, you can take public transport
to Dam square or Central Station and from these
two locations, you have to move on by foot.

Almost everybody has heard from this
area without even has visit it. The red light district
of Amsterdam is world famous. The area surround the
Oude Kerk certainly lives up to its name; red lights
burn in abundance. Beside all the red lights, this area
has so much more to offer. Especially the Oudezijds
Achterburgwal is absolutely worth it. The Oudezijds
Achterburgwal has many lovely buildings, little shops
and restaurants.
When you are visiting this district do not forget
to visit the Zeedijk, an absolutely recommendation.
It runs from the Saint Olofs Chapel to De Waag on
the Nieuw Markt. De Waag and the Scheiers Tower was
a part of the medieval city walls. The zeedijk also
boasts picturesque houses, original gables and the
Oude Kerk, the oldest church of Amsterdam. Because
of the many oriental shops, bar and restaurants in
this area, people call this area China Town.
If you like culture and trends, Waterloo square is
a recommendation. On the Waterloo square you will
find the modern City Hall Stopera and the Muziek Theater.
The daily market on this square attracts scores of
people who are looking for great bargains.
